About the role -
We're an established DTC ecommerce brand running paid social at scale. We're looking for a static ad creator who can design scroll-stopping static ads that actually convert on Meta, not just look nice.
This is a performance role, not a decoration one. You should understand direct-response design, how to build for the feed, and how to match a creative to where the buyer is in their awareness journey. We test constantly and care about results.
What you'll do
Design high-converting static ads for Meta (feed, stories, etc.)
Build creatives mapped to different buyer awareness levels (unaware ? problem-aware ? solution-aware ? product-aware)
Turn angles and offers into clear, punchy visual concepts
Iterate quickly based on ad performance data
Produce variations at volume for testing
You must have
Proven experience creating static ads that converted on Meta (portfolio required)
Evidence of real ad spend behind your work โ creatives you've made that scaled, not just mockups
Strong graphic design skills (layout, hierarchy, typography, colour)
Solid understanding of direct-response principles and buyer awareness levels
Ability to design for the feed โ thumb-stopping, clear, and built to convert
Comfort working from performance data and iterating
Big plus (not required)
Experience in the toy, kids, gifting, or family niche
Experience with AI image tools
Experience designing for high-spend accounts
How to apply
Generic applications will be ignored. To apply:
Start your message with the word "STATIC" so I know you read this fully
Share your portfolio โ specifically static ads you've made for Meta. Tell me the results/spend behind them if you know.
Which brands/products have you created paid ads for?
Briefly: how do you approach designing an ad differently for a cold, unaware audience vs a warm, product-aware one?
