Required Location: We are only hiring from the following states: Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, New Jersey, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Texas, Virginia, and Wisconsin Employment Type: Full-Time Role Overview As a GI Expert Nurse Practitioner at Oshi Health, you'll deliver high-quality, virtual-first gastrointestinal care to adults with complex digestive conditions through our telemedicine platform. You'll work alongside a collaborative, multidisciplinary team with dietitians, and behavioral health specialists to provide coordinated, whole-person care that helps patients achieve lasting digestive health improvements. What You'll Do — Key Responsibilities - Deliver virtual patient care in alignment with Oshi's evidence-based care model, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for GI conditions with a focus on DGBIs, GERD, and IBD via video visits and chat messaging - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (GI physicians, dietitians, behavioral health specialists, and care coordinators) to implement coordinated, comprehensive care plans - Adhere to clinical protocols including ROME IV criteria and AGA and ACG guidelines to ensure high-quality, evidence-based care delivery - Document patient interactions accurately and timely within the EHR, maintaining thorough and compliant records - Allocate approximately 30 hours per week to direct patient care and 10 hours to documentation, meetings, and administrative responsibilities - This is not a traditional 9-5 role — scheduling includes a mix of early morning, evening, and weekend hours to meet patient access needs. Flexibility and willingness to work outside standard business hours is essential - Participate in quality improvement, clinical program development, and professional training to stay current in the field of gastrointestinal care - Pursue cross-licensure opportunities and maintain good standing with all relevant licenses and certifications What We're Looking For — Qualifications & Requirements Required - Current licensure as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) with a Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing - Current certification by ANCC, AANP, or other qualifying agency as an Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner - Minimum of 3 years of experience in gastroenterology specialty in an outpatient setting - Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary care providers including physicians, psychologists, and registered dietitians Preferred - Licensure in 2 additional states desired — candidates must be willing and able to obtain within 60 days of hire - Experience with or willingness to learn common administrative and clinical technologies (Zoom, Google Suite, Salesforce, Athena, or equivalent) - Prior experience with telehealth platforms - Comfort operating in an entrepreneurial or start-up environment with evolving workflows and ambiguity Compensation & Benefits - Salary Range: Competitive, commensurate with experience, with annual bonus eligibility - Health Benefits: 90% employee premiums paid for medical, dental, and vision coverage - Time Off: 3 weeks paid PTO + 11 paid holidays + 1 floating holiday - Retirement: Eligibility to contribute to 401(k) - Work Style: Remote-first — work from home anywhere in the US - Growth: Advanced training by GI-specialized clinicians and professional development support as we scale - Licensure: Cross-licensure support and reimbursement opportunities - Life Concierge: Dedicated personal support through Overalls About Oshi Health Oshi Health is a virtual digestive health practice on a mission
