Founding Engineer

Role Summary KDCI Outsourcing is looking for a Founding Engineer to take on broad technical ownership in a fast-moving environment. You'll help shape the technical direction, build core systems from the ground up, and wear multiple hats as needs evolve. Key Responsibilities - Design, build, and ship core product features from the ground up - Make key architectural and technical decisions with long-term impact - Work closely with founders/leadership to translate vision into technical execution - Take ownership across the stack — front-end, back-end, infrastructure, and beyond - Establish engineering practices, tooling, and standards early on - Adapt quickly as priorities and requirements shif Requirements Requirements - 5+ years of software engineering experience, including early-stage or startup experience - Strong full-stack development skills and system design fundamentals - Comfort with ambiguity and shifting priorities - Excellent communication and ownership mindset - Track record of shipping and scaling products independently Nice-to-Haves - Experience as an early engineer or co-founder at a startup - Familiarity with AI/LLM-powered product development - Experience hiring and mentoring engineers as a team grows Highlights Lead product development, shape architecture, and build scalable systems from the ground up.
