The Field Service Representative (FSR) is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to clients while installing and maintaining diagnostic instruments in hospital laboratory environments.
This position reports to the Quebec District Service Manager and is part of the Service Department located in the Greater Montreal area and will be entirely remote.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Serving assigned customers, under minimal supervision, you will be required to complete troubleshooting, installation, validation, maintenance and service repair needs on designated instrumentation.
- Complete on time and accurately: preventative maintenance, field modifications, instrument repairs and work order/service documentation.
- Occasionally available to travel across Canada , to support the various sites where our instrumentation is used.
Essential job requirements include:
- Technical degree in biomedical, electronics or related field with a minimum of 2 years of experience troubleshooting, installing, performing maintenance on equipment at customer sites OR 2 years of experience in with laboratory instruments
- Bilingualism in French and English, spoken and written
Travel, motor vehicle history, and physical and environmental requirements:
- Ability to travel to the United States of America for training.
- Ability to regularly lift, move, slide, raise and/or place up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand, walk (prolonged), and sit; squat and kneel, ascend and descend stairs; reach with hands and arms.
It would be a plus if you also have previous experience in:
- Field Service experience
- Technical service for instruments in the following categories: Hematology, automation.
