Experienced English Teacher Wanted – ABC ENGLISH 130 Days Off per Year | Friendly International Team | Shiga, Japan ABC ENGLISH is an English school located in Hikone and Nagahama, Shiga Prefecture. We are looking for an experienced, friendly, cheerful, and easy-going English teacher to join our Eikaiwa school. (About Our Team) We are a friendly and international team of 29 staff members, including: 🇵🇭 7 teachers from the Philippines 🇺🇸 2 teachers from the United States 🇿🇼 1 teacher from Zimbabwe Japanese teaching and support staff We value teamwork, a positive atmosphere, and good communication among our teachers. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with children and colleagues, has a warm and positive personality, and can become a comfortable part of our international team. (Position) English Teacher – Eikaiwa School Starting Date: September, October, or November 2026 The starting date is negotiable. Visa sponsorship available. (Working Conditions) *Full-time *5 days per week / 40 hours per week *Approximately 130 days off per year plus 10 days of paid leave in the first year of employment. *Summer, winter, and spring holidays Obon: approximately 8 days Christmas/New Year: approximately 2 weeks Golden Week: approximately 10 days We place a strong value on work-life balance. (Salary) 1st year: ¥275,000 per month 2nd year: ¥280,000 per month 3rd year and beyond: Salary increases will be based on the school's salary and evaluation policies. ＊＊During the initial 3-month training and handover period, the salary is ¥250,000 per month. (Training & Teaching Materials) Our curriculum is easy to follow, and you will receive training and support from our current teachers. We provide a wide range of teaching materials, including books, music CDs, games, flashcards, and other classroom resources. (Social Insurance) Full social insurance coverage is provided, including: *Health insurance *Employees' Pension Insurance *Employment insurance *Workers' Compensation Insurance (Housing Support) An apartment can be arranged if needed.
