Role Description
This is a remote freelance role for an English Korean Simultaneous Interpreter at AsiaLocalize . The Interpreter will be responsible for delivering accurate and fluent real-time interpretation during online interview sessions. They will ensure seamless communication between English- and Korean-speaking participants while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism throughout each meeting.
Responsibilities:

Provide accurate and natural simultaneous interpretation during 2-hour interviews held over Zoom or MS Teams.

Ensure clarity and cultural appropriateness in all interpreted content.

Demonstrate familiarity with terminology related to the gaming sector and ecosystem .

Uphold confidentiality, professionalism, and accuracy during all interpretation sessions.

Work efficiently in a virtual setting , ensuring technical readiness and reliability.
Qualifications:

Fluency in English and Korean (spoken and written).

Proven experience in simultaneous interpretation , preferably in the gaming or technology industry .

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work under pressure and deliver high-quality interpretation in real-time.

Familiarity with online meeting tools such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams .
MUST-HAVE Qualifications:

Previous experience in live simultaneous interpretation.

Experience interpreting for interviews, business meetings, or technology-related discussions .
