We are looking for an energetic, dedicated, and enthusiastic English teacher to join our friendly eikaiwa school, conveniently located directly in front of JR Kawanoe Station in Ehime Prefecture. We offer a wide range of English programs for students of all ages, from young children to adults. In addition to general English conversation classes, we specialize in Business English and provide lessons for local companies in the area. Job Responsibilities Planning and teaching English lessons Traveling to off-site corporate and group classes Cleaning and organizing the school Preparing for and assisting with seasonal and extracurricular events Promoting the school and helping raise awareness within the local community About Us We are a small, privately owned English conversation school located in Shikokuchuo City, Ehime. Although the city is a relatively small industrial community with only a limited number of English-speaking foreign residents, it offers a safe, relaxed lifestyle and easy access to nature. Applicants must possess a valid driver's license or an International Driving Permit, as travel to off-site lessons is required. What We're Looking For We welcome applicants with any level of teaching experience. Full on-the-job training is provided. The ideal candidate will: Have a genuine interest in Japanese culture and working with Japanese people Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills Be patient, friendly, flexible, and reliable Be positive, and enthusiastic about teaching Enjoy working with both children and adults Work Days Monday to Friday Saturdays, Sundays, and Japanese national holidays off Business Hours 12:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. Working Hours Maximum of 8 working hours per day scheduled within the school's business hours. Accommodation & Transportation The position includes an apartment located near JR Kawanoe Station. The school, supermarkets, convenience stores, restaurants, and other local amenities are all within easy walking distance. Please note that rent and utilities are not subsidized. Monthly rent is approximately ¥30,000, plus electricity charges. A rental car is also available and is highly recommended, as it provides greater convenience for commuting to off-site lessons, shopping, sightseeing, and exploring the surrounding area.
