Job Description

- Handle employment law matters from inception through resolution.

- Draft pleadings, motions, and written discovery.

- Conduct legal research and develop case strategy.

- Take and defend depositions.

- Attend hearings, mediations, and client meetings.

- Prepare cases for trial and participate in trial proceedings when necessary.

- Advise clients on employment-related disputes and risk management.

- Maintain strong communication with clients and colleagues.

- Meet billable requirements while delivering exceptional client service.

Qualifications

- Active California Bar license in good standing.

- JD from an ABA-accredited law school.

- 2+ years of employment law experience.

- Experience handling litigation matters and managing multiple cases.

- Strong legal writing, analytical, and communication skills.

- Deposition and motion practice experience preferred.

- Trial and mediation experience are a plus.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
