Position: India Domestic Tax Specialist
Type: Contract
Compensation: $55–$80/hour
Location: Remote
Duration: Short-term engagement
Commitment: 10–20 hours/week
Role Responsibilities

- Review Indian tax research questions and model answers to ensure accuracy and depth.

- Validate statutory interpretation and supporting authorities to improve technical accuracy.

- Update answers based on recent legislative developments in Indian domestic tax law .

- Refine grading rubrics to enhance clarity and precision.

- Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving AI model performance .

Qualifications

Must-Have

- 5+ years of Indian tax experience.

- Chartered Accountant (CA) , Advocate, Cost Accountant, or equivalent tax qualification.

- Deep expertise in Indian domestic taxation .

- Experience interpreting the Income-tax Act , GST legislation , CBDT circulars , and judicial precedents.

- Experience preparing tax opinions, litigation support, or advisory memoranda.

- Strong written communication skills.
