Note: Can be done remotely with some client site travel
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Impeccable communication skills and customer focus
- Understanding of Apache HTTPd and Tomcat
- Understanding of HTTP
- Linux OS experience - BASH shell, Scripting, Package Management (YUM, YAST, RPM), OS configuration
Good to have QUALIFICATIONS:
- Quick grasp of customer requirements and the ability to translate them into technical designs
- Freemarker, AspectJ, Maven, Soy closure templates experience
- Jive application installation/upgrade experience
- Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, or Postgres experience
- Understanding of virtualization fundamentals
- Proficiency across the range of J2EE technologies, particularly the Servlet API, XML, JDBC, and LDAP
- Good understanding of the JVM and ability to troubleshoot (garbage collection, heap, threads) Struts 2, Spring, etc.
- Experience on the browser side (e.g. HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and AJAX).
