DevOps Engineer
About OneImaging
Radiology is the second most used healthcare service, used by over 51% of the workforce annually. Despite the critical role of radiology in healthcare, the process for undergoing a medical imaging exam has remained unchanged for decades. OneImaging is solving this with a concierge approach and a premium-quality radiology network of over 5,000 vetted providers across 48 states, which also reduces imaging costs by 60-80%. Our solution helps patients and families access essential radiology services at fair prices and without surprise bills, all while delivering immediate savings and ROI for employers and payers on every exam.
About the Role
One Imaging is looking for a DevOps Engineer to help build and maintain the cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines behind our healthcare imaging platform. You'll work day-to-day in AWS and GitHub, supporting the systems our clinical and product teams rely on.
This is a hands-on role built for someone early in their career who wants to grow into full-stack infrastructure ownership. You'll be paired with senior engineers, get real responsibility quickly, and learn how to operate infrastructure in a regulated healthcare environment where reliability and patient data protection are non-negotiable.
What you'll do
- Build, deploy, and monitor infrastructure in AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch, VPC).
- Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions โ builds, tests, and automated deployments.
- Support release processes and help troubleshoot build, deployment, and environment issues.
- Write scripts and small automations (Bash, Python) to eliminate manual, repetitive work.
- Help manage access controls, secrets, and audit logging in line with HIPAA and internal security policy.
- Monitor system health, respond to alerts, and participate in incident response alongside senior engineers.
- Document infrastructure, runbooks, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with developers on branching strategy, code review workflows, and repository hygiene in GitHub.
About You
- 1โ2 years of experience in DevOps, cloud, IT operations, or software engineering โ including internships, co-ops, or strong personal/open-source project work.
- Working familiarity with AWS core services and the AWS console/CLI.
- Hands-on experience with Git and GitHub: branches, pull requests, and GitHub Actions workflows.
- Comfort in a Linux environment and scripting in Bash or Python.
- Understanding of CI/CD fundamentals and why automated, repeatable deployments matter.
- Clear written communication and a habit of documenting your work.
- Curiosity, ownership, and a willingness to ask questions early rather than guess.
Preferred Experience
- Exposure to infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK).
- Familiarity with Docker or container orchestration.
- Experience with monitoring/observability tooling (CloudWatch, Datadog, Grafana).
- Any exposure to HIPAA, SOC 2, HITRUST, PCI or another regulated environment.
- AWS certification (Cloud Practitioner, Solutions Architect Associate, or similar).
