About the Role
As a Desktop Supervisor/Assessor at ABC Group , you will be responsible for estimating insurance repairs for residential buildings across QLD and NSW. The role requires an experienced builder with knowledge in Assessing or Estimating, who wants a new challenge or to take the next step in their career.
Your day-to-day duties will include (but not limited to);
- Using our desktop assessment tool (Virtual Assistant) to assess residential property damage.
- Providing timely and accurate building assessment reports and quotes for residential insurance claims
- Review specialist reports determining causation and accurate application of policy liability
- Communicating effectively with stakeholders
- Actively celebrating the success of our team!
To ensure your success you will possess the following;
- Ability to conduct building assessments of damage, and in turn provide accurate reports, scope of works documents and tender quotes to perform repairs.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- High attention to detail with experience quoting in the residential construction space.
- Previous trade experience required.
- Previous experience in the insurance repairs industry will be highly regarded.
- Intermediate-level computer literacy (previous experience using estimating / project management software is a bonus!)
- Strong understanding of building regulations and codes and OHS standards.
