Job Title: DaVinci Resolve Video Editor — Podcast Episodes & Shorts (Ongoing, Part-Time) Type: Part-Time / Recurring, weekly cadence Pay: $40-$50 flat per full episode edit + 4 short/clips *(or $10/hr while calibrating — adjust after trial)* Hours: Estimated 3–5 hrs/week once up to speed Location: Remote (fully async — no live/real-time sessions required) About Us We produce podcasts, video, and marketing content for a range of clients. We need an ongoing weekly editor for a 2-person remote podcast — recording is handled separately by our team; this role picks up once the raw footage is ready. What You'll Be Doing (weekly, per episode) - Edit one 30–45 minute 2-person remote podcast episode: basic cleanup of mess-ups/dead air, camera selection between single-speaker view and grid view (when both people are talking), audio sync and enhancement, lower thirds/basic graphics, deliver an approved cut ready for final export - Cut 4 short-form clips (30–90 sec) from the episode — optimized for Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts, with captions and platform-specific vertical formatting - Deliver everything on a consistent weekly schedule via Dropbox Must Have - Strong working knowledge of DaVinci Resolve — comfortable switching between single-speaker and grid/multi-speaker camera views based on who's talking (straightforward 2-camera edit, not complex multicam choreography) - Experience editing short-form social clips (captions, platform formatting, pacing for :30–:90 content) - Reliable, consistent weekly turnaround — this is an ongoing commitment tied to a fixed weekly publishing schedule - Good English communication for feedback rounds Nice to Have - Experience with interview/talking-head podcast content How to Apply 1.
