Data Platform Architect

This is a remote position.
On behalf of our Client, the UK branch of a global consulting company, we are looking for a: Data Platform Architect . We are seeking an experienced Data Platform Architect to support the design and evolution of modern data and AI platforms, with a strong focus on Generative AI, MLOps, and advanced analytics. The role requires building scalable, secure, and future-ready solutions aligned with enterprise standards. RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Providing end-to-end architectural support across GenAI platforms, MLOps, and advanced analytics ecosystems

- Designing scalable, secure, and enterprise-grade data and AI platform solutions

- Ensuring architectural consistency across multiple parallel initiatives

- Driving platform sustainability, scalability, and operational excellence

- Collaborating with cross-functional teams (data, AI, engineering, business stakeholders)

- Defining best practices, standards, and architectural guidelines for AI and data platforms

Requirements

- 8+ years of experience in data/AI engineering, including min. 3–5 years in an architectural role

- Proven experience as a Data / AI / ML Architect or similar role

- Strong understanding of Generative AI (LLMs), MLOps, and modern data platforms

- Experience designing scalable and secure enterprise solutions

- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP)

- Familiarity with tools such as Databricks, MLflow, Azure ML, SageMaker or similar

- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

- Ability to work across multiple projects and priorities

- Fluent English
