Data Analyst

We are seeking a Data Analyst who can collect, analyze, and transform data into actionable insights that support business growth across the company's portfolio of brands. The role will support the company's global business by collecting, organizing, and analyzing data across multiple functions, including marketing, product development, inventory management, and business operations. You will help drive data-driven decision making while contributing to the growth of Japanese traditional crafts around the world. Responsibilities Include: - Collecting and integrating sales, advertising, and HR data into our in-house database - Cleaning and preparing datasets to support a reliable analytics environment - Designing and building dashboards using BI tools (e.g., Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI) - Performing statistical analysis and developing machine learning models using Python (Pandas/NumPy) or R - Developing demand forecasting models and inventory optimization algorithms - Reporting insights and recommending improvements to the marketing and product development teams Required Qualifications: - Strong interest and motivation to engage in data analysis and AI utilization - Basic Excel skills - Logical thinking ability and a proactive approach to identifying and solving problems Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in data analysis using Python (Pandas, scikit-learn, etc.) or R - Experience participating in data competitions such as Kaggle or SIGNATE - Experience in data extraction and processing using SQL - Certifications such as Statistical Test Level 2 or higher, IT Passport, or Fundamental Information Technology Engineer Examination - Experience using BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker Studio, etc.) - Experience in team development and participation in projects using Git We welcome candidates who are proactive, eager to learn, and passionate about using data to drive meaningful business decisions.
