Responsibilities
The D365 Business Central Consultant II can work in person, remote, or in a hybrid environment. About 20% travel to client locations in the U.S. is required. Responsibilities: - Deliver enterprise client Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementation engagements including complex configurations, development, and integrations - Define, drive, and execute key initiatives for implementation, delivery, and support of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central in an operational capacity (supply chain and manufacturing) - Facilitate discussions with business and technical stakeholders to extract critical business requirements, gather functional requirements, and identify functional gaps - Present a functional and technical vision to stakeholders; share best practices - Recommend solutions in the form of software products, customizations, and integrations to meet Dynamics 365 Business Central needs - Work directly with manufacturing and distribution clients to develop functional design documents and related solution design and configure Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central software - Utilize ERP implementation standards and tools to deliver client solutions while managing data and task execution - Assist with research and development to anticipate and understand the market and prepare the team to effectively meet client needs Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Qualifications: - Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience - 1+ year of ERP implementation experience in a professional services firm or 3+ years of private industry ERP implementation experience; Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central experience is highly preferred - Works toward obtaining additional appropriate certifications - About 20% travel to client locations within the U.S. - Demonstrated ownership of tasks and consistent responsibility for execution with clear communication and strong organization - Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize multiple projects at once - Experience with clients in the manufacturing industry preferred - Demonstrated knowledge of accounting or finance preferred - Knowledge and experience with the Business Central ecosystem of ISV’s and App partners and solutions preferred Carly Seidl, from our recruiting team, will be guiding you through this process.
