Computer Vision Engineer - Fresher (WFH)

About the job: Role: Computer-Vision/AI Engineer (intern/fresher) This role is ideal for final-year students, recent graduates, or freshers who want hands-on experience building and improving real-world AI systems. You will work closely with senior engineers on model training, dataset preparation, experimentation, and deployment. Key Responsibilities: 1. Train and evaluate models for object detection, segmentation, classification, and tracking. 2. Support dataset preparation, including preprocessing, augmentation, annotation support, and quality checks. 3. Work with existing machine learning pipelines: testing, benchmarking, debugging, and iterative improvements. 4. Run experiments on models such as YOLO, Mask R-CNN, and other segmentation networks and document findings. 5. Optimize and integrate models for real-time inference including video analysis, frame-by-frame panel/damage detection. 6. Write clean, readable, and well-documented Python code and stay updated with recent developments in computer vision and deep learning. B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech (final year or recent graduate) in computer science, AI/ML, electrical engineering, robotics, or related field. - 2 Strong fundamentals in Python programming and basic data structures. - 3 Understanding of machine learning concepts and linear algebra basics. - 4 Strong programming skills in Python and deep-learning frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow. - 5 Experience in classical image processing (OpenCV, NumPy) plus deep learning-based CV (CNNs, segmentation, detection). - 6 Comfort working in Linux environments and a basic understanding of Git. - 7 Good communication skills to collaborate across teams (backend, product, and operations) and mentor other engineers.
