Position: CNC Machining Expert
Type: Contract
Compensation: $120–$175/hour
Location: Remote
Role Responsibilities

- Contribute to text-only, objective, verifiable rubrics for grading CNC machining solutions across provided CAD models and machining context.

- Write clear verification rationale for each criterion to ensure clarity and precision.

- Review sample solutions and explain pass/fail outcomes with detailed reasoning.

- Apply real production-floor judgment to determine the approval or rejection of machining approaches.

- Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines and improve rubric quality.

Qualifications

Must-Have

- 5+ years of hands-on CNC machining experience.

- Strong production judgment to assess safe operations on real machines.

- Written English fluency for text-based deliverables.

Preferred
- Experience with hobbyist machines ( Makera Carvera ) and Haas machines ( VF-2 ).
