Participates in the day-to-day operations, processes, and workflows of the Cloud Security team. Takes ownership of projects and initiatives within the Cloud Security team. Identifies improvements to detective controls, automation opportunities, and creates solutions for preventative controls for Cloud Security environments. Participates in the development of documentation.
How You'll Contribute

Perform daily operational duties around Cloud Securityincluding:reviewing alerts, performing evaluations ofreported false positivesin our CNAPP tooling, and working with application and platform teams to remediate public cloud Vulnerabilities

Work with technical leads toevaluateany new products or technology products

Regularly interacts with management and peers in other departments for purposes of gaining cooperation, exchanging technical information, and presenting project plans and reports.

Build a trusted advisory relationship with strategic customers across the business

Work with customers, stakeholders, product managers, and product owners to understand andmaintaina high-levelunderstanding of the current and upcoming requirements.

Standardize operational and process documentation for operations and changes to Cloud Security tooling

Provide leadership by instructing, mentoring, and training team members within and outside the work group.

Work with technical leaders toadvisemanagement on technical matters requiring coordination between organizations.

Identifyand deliveradditionaldetective and preventative control implementation opportunities
What You'll Bring
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, ora relatedfield. Can be substituted with work experience.

Relevant certifications such as the Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), AWS Certified Security Specialty(preferred),AWS Associate Architect, Google Cloud Professional Architect, or similar
-
4-5 years of working experienceas aCloud Securitygeneralist, offering guidance on security domains including IAM, Vulnerability and Configuration Management, Data Encryption, as well as others

3-5Years of Experience working with AWS, GCP

Experienceconfiguring and operatingCNAPP tooling, including triaging alerts and defining policy sets for Public Cloud Services

Experience generating and providing compliance reports for leadership on control metrics

Experience working withadistributed team.

Deep understandingofand experience with cloudsecurity concepts including technology, best practices, design, deployment, and operations.

Deep understandingofand experience withpublic cloud security in a hybrid cloud environment.

Successfultrack recordof designing, developing, and managing the execution of projects in thecloudand/or security space.

Ability to develop and implement processes to ensure compliance and quality.

Ability toestablishand maintain effective working relationships within and between departments.

Dealswith others in an honest manner, assures adherence to company policies, addresses questionable business practices.
