About the Job:

We're looking for a talented CAD & Graphic Designer to bring the Comfrt vision to life through print, pattern, and graphic design. Will play a key role in developing seasonal collections, translating our brand handwriting into compelling prints and graphics across apparel, home and accessories categories.
Responsibilities:

- Develop graphic concepts across a range of apparel categories, including Logo, License and Non Logo content.

- Develop product packaging

- Collaborate with the design and production teams to brainstorm and develop new ideas

- Identify and interpret relevant fashion and market trends through research and social listening

- Maintain a strong understanding of the Comfrt brand aesthetic, customer, and market trends, with a sharp eye for color, print, pattern, and graphic direction relevant to the category.

- Conduct ongoing trend research across fashion, graphics, home, retail, and cultural spaces to help drive new print, pattern, and packaging concepts.

- Develop original graphics, prints, and repeat patterns while understanding how artwork translates across various product categories, materials, and fabrications.

- Partner with factories and cross-functional teams to provide clear artwork direction and ensure graphic execution, print quality, scale, placement, and application methods are commercially viable and aligned with design intent.

- Communicate directly with vendors, provide timely strike-off comments, and ensure artwork executes accurately

- Maintain organized digital files and archives of all designs

- Present artwork and communicate creative vision to cross-functional partners and senior leadership

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Illustration, or a related field β€” or equivalent experience

- 10+ years of experience in graphic and/or CAD design, preferably within apparel or a global retailer

- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign

- Strong eye for color, composition, typography, and concept development

- Possess a strong understanding of graphic and print application techniques across different fabric types, including limitations and opportunities within garment wash, dye, print, embroidery, and specialty applications.

- Understand factory production capabilities and application methods to proactively problem-solve during development and support efficient execution from concept through production.

- Versatile artwork range, with the ability to execute across a broad spectrum of design styles β€” from elaborate plaids, camo, watercolor, and scenic illustrations to simple dots, stripes, and clean graphics

- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.

- Ability to work autonomously, take ownership of projects, and effectively manage workload with minimal oversight in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong time management and prioritization skills with the ability to adapt quickly to shifting business needs and timelines.

- Proven ability to multitask across graphic design, print development, packaging, trend research, and cross-functional collaboration while maintaining high quality execution.

- A collaborative, positive team player who is open to feedback and thrives with cross-functional partners

- Strong presentation and communication skills

Portfolio Required β€” Please include a portfolio with your application showcasing your design range, color work, and concept development.
