Business English Instructor in the Kansai Area

■ Why Join IES? International Education Services (IES) provides Business English training to professionals, managers, and executives at corporations and government organizations throughout Japan. As an IES instructor, you will be assigned to a variety of online and in-person training programs year-round, working with clients from a wide range of industries and organizations. ■ About the Position Instructors teach Business English and communication skills to professionals in corporate and government settings. Depending on business needs and individual qualifications, additional administrative and office-related responsibilities may also be assigned. ■ Location Classes are conducted online and at client sites throughout the Kansai area, including Osaka, Kyoto, Hyogo, and Nara. ■ Start Date & Contract Positions are expected to begin in September or October 2026. The initial contract is for one year, with the option to renew. Schedules typically follow a five-day workweek and may include some weekend work. ■ Compensation Guaranteed Minimum Annual Salary: ¥3,000,000 Instructors are assigned to training programs throughout the year based on business needs. The guaranteed minimum annual salary ensures earnings of at least ¥3,000,000 during the first year of employment. ■ Qualifications Required: • Native English speaker • Bachelor's degree or higher • At least two years of business teaching experience Preferred: • At least two years of professional business experience • A background in business/finance, engineering, manufacturing, science, or technology • Japanese language ability is not required but it is considered an advantage.
