Position Title :BIM Coordinator
Position Location :Remote - work from anywhere in the United States. Must be located near a major airport.
Travel Requirements: Up to5%domestic travel.Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to rent vehicles.

Job Summary
The BIM Coordinator will support the MEP Engineers and coordinate across various groups. The scope of work will involve both small and large-scale mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection projects. This person will be responsible for managing BIM related technologies, processes, support and training. Primary duties include analyzing systems and processes, developing and maintaining standards and procedures, educating and training staff to enhance efficiency of design and production staff.
The BIM Coordinator will receive general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects or assignments. May work independently or under immediate supervision. May serve as trade lead on routine projects of limited scope.

Essential Functions
Training, Mentoring and Standards Development (40%)
- Train production staff and contribute to organizational training and standards development
- Provide technical orientation to new hires regarding BIM tools
- Maintain high level of competency of software through continued use and training
- Research, understand and incorporate standards from clients when required for a given project
- Develop and manageDLBRevittemplates,policies, standardsand proceduresin conjunction with other Revit users at DLB
- Manage and maintain a comprehensive Revit training program using both online resources and in-house materials
- Mentor associates and assist with training and development to create a learning and growing environment
- Continuous reviewofdesign package software, ensuring compatibility and functionality with the network and ensures accurate licensing
- Ongoing monitoring of the AEC production software industry to keep on top of latest developments including the implementation / integration path of updates / upgrades / augments for DLB
- Attend conferences, seminars and workshops for BIM
Revit Workflow Coordination / Project Interface (30%)
- Act as liaison between project managers/ lead engineersand production staff and assist inworkloaddelegation and coordination of resources
- Provide quality control for completeness and adherence to company standards of production
- Monitorwork products produced bystaff to ensureRevitstandards are maintained within project models
- Assign tasksandprovide technical guidance tootherproductionpersonnel, including scheduling of work assignments
- Assist project teams in BIM project setup
- Develop Revit families in response to project need
- Resolve BIM design issues
- Manage and distribute coordinated digital documents to the project team
Production of Revit Documents (25%)
