About the Role
The Learning & Development Consultant provides strategic, organizational-level workplace wellbeing consultancy to international corporate clients across Lyra’s global markets. Partnering closely with clients, Account Management, and internal stakeholders, this role identifies workforce wellbeing needs and designs scalable, clinically sound, and commercially viable group-based learning interventions (workshops, webinars, leadership programs, and campaigns).
Note: This is an organizational consultancy role and does not involve individual clinical care, counseling, diagnosis, or treatment.
This is a Mexico-based fully remote position within Lyra International’s global Learning and Development function, supporting clients, colleagues and stakeholders across multiple international markets and time zones.
Occasional work outside standard local working hours may be required to support global meetings, client engagements or programme delivery. Therefore the successful consultant must be comfortable working in a geographically distributed and cross-cultural environment.
Key Responsibilities
L&D Consulting
- Provide consultative guidance to clients and internal stakeholders on workplace wellbeing learning and development needs.
- Assess organisational requirements and recommend appropriate group-based interventions aligned with client objectives, workforce needs and relevant cultural contexts.
- Translate broad or complex client requirements into clear, practical and deliverable learning solutions.
- Advise on programme structure, target audiences, learning formats, sequencing, engagement approaches and implementation considerations.
Client and Stakeholder Relationship Management
- Build trusted consultative relationships with clients, Account Management teams and key internal stakeholders.
- Participate in client discovery, scoping and planning discussions to understand organisational challenges and desired outcomes.
- Present recommendations clearly and confidently to both operational and senior-level stakeholders.
Project and Programme Management
- Coordinate the planning and implementation of learning and development programmes across multiple stakeholders, regions and time zones.
- Develop clear project plans, milestones, delivery requirements and stakeholder responsibilities.
- Monitor programme progress, risks, dependencies and changes in scope.
Content and Solution Quality
- Ensure proposed learning solutions are aligned with Lyra’s quality, clinical and professional standards.
- Review learning objectives, programme structures and supporting materials for relevance, accuracy and appropriateness.
- Work with content and facilitation-quality stakeholders when adapting or developing learning solutions.
Commercial and Financial Management
- Ensure proposed solutions are aligned with the client’s contract, available service hours and agreed commercial arrangements.
- Work with Account Management and operational stakeholders to develop appropriate scopes, estimates and programme assumptions.
