Backend Developer / Full Stack

All About the Role:
- Developing new products and strategies, and taking them to market efficiently and seamlessly

- Designing and delivering tailored solutions, implementing complex technology assets, and leading transformation programs to establish new standards for client operations

- Building clients' internal skills, knowledge, and capability in critical domains

- Transforming client processes and optimizing management practices to improve performance

- Experience in cards /payments - desirable

As a backend developer, you will bring:
- Strong technical expertise across the full technology stack, with a particular focus on backend development.

- A strong passion for designing, developing, and deploying high-quality software solutions.

- Experience across the full software development lifecycle, including partnering with stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, develop and deploy, and provide monitoring and support.

- Lead the design, development, and unit testing of software applications, APIs, and services in line with architecture standards and engineering best practices across financial platforms and mobile apps.

- Proficiency in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines that incorporate automated testing and governance.

- In-depth knowledge of microservice architectures and distributed system design patterns.

- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, enabling effective teamwork.

- Prior experience in mentoring and developing junior engineers.

Technical Skills:

This position is highly technical and requires proficiency across a wide range of tools, languages, and frameworks. While expertise in every area is not expected, experience or familiarity with most will support success in the team:
- Full Cycle Engineering (design, implementation, operation, and management)

- Full Stack Technologies: Web APIs, Java

- Testing Frameworks: Selenium, mountebank, Pact, xUnit

- DevOps & CI/CD Pipelines: GitHub Actions, TeamCity, Octopus, Jenkins

- Monitoring & Observability: OpenTelemetry, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, AWS CloudWatch

- Cloud Platforms: Azure, AWS

- Spring Boot framework

- Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes

- Java (web backend)
