Au Xero Book Keeper

Seeking an experienced bookkeeper to bring books up to date followed by ongoing monthly engagements. Required experience: Xero certified (current) Demonstrated ability to structure books to maximises legitimate deductions and minimises the client's tax exposure Minimum 3 years bookkeeping for Australian businesses Strong working knowledge of Australian GST and BAS preparation Proven experience reconciling multi-currency payment processors Proven experience reconciling ecommerce platforms Experience with multi-entity bookkeeping, including inter-company loan accounts Experience with director loan accounts and Division 7A awareness Confident handling mixed-use credit card reconciliations Experience cleaning up neglected or backlogged books Comfortable preparing handover files for Australian tax agents Skills: Excellent written English Strong attention to detail Independent worker, able to identify issues and propose solutions Comfortable on Zoom and Loom for check-ins Available for AEST overlap hours To apply, please provide: Confirmation of current Xero certification Years of experience with Australian bookkeeping specifically
