Your role at Vantive
The Associate Director, Market Intelligence, will own and drive the enterprise market intelligence agenda, translating market and competitive insights into strategic action and embedding those insights across the organization. This role reports to the Senior Director of Global Business Strategy and Operations and serves as the primary market intelligence thought partner to Commercial, Marketing, R&D, and Strategy leaders. The Associate Director sets the methodology, frameworks, and priorities for the market intelligence function, owns end-to-end delivery of insights across both the PD and acute portfolios, and is accountable for final deliverables that inform executive decision-making. While both the Associate Director and Senior Manager report to the Senior Director, the Associate Director provides functional direction to the Senior Manager, including setting project priorities, reviewing work products, and ensuring alignment to enterprise strategy. The Associate Director operates with moderate-to-high autonomy and is accountable for the full enterprise view of market intelligence.
What you’ll be doing
Market Intelligence & Insight Generation

Define the enterprise market intelligence agenda and own end-to-end delivery of insights across PD and acute portfolios, aligned to the highest-priority business questions (e.g., market entry, growth opportunities, competitive threats).

Conduct and synthesize primary and secondary research to generate insights on market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activity.

Develop and maintain market models, revenue forecasts, and segmentation frameworks to support portfolio and commercial planning.

Translate competitive intelligence into clear implications and recommended actions for the business.
Strategy Enablement

Lead integration of market and competitive insights into executive decision-making; serve as primary thought partner to Commercial and Marketing leadership on go-to-market strategies, pricing, and positioning decisions.

Lead the market intelligence input to portfolio strategy and planning processes, ensuring structured, enterprise-wide market and customer perspectives are represented in key business decisions.

Lead the development of executive-level deliverables, including strategic reviews and planning discussions; accountable for the quality and strategic alignment of all insight-driven outputs presented to senior leadership.
Change Management & Adoption

Diagnose systemic gaps between insights generated and actions taken; lead the resolution of adoption barriers across stakeholder groups.

Develop tools, templates, and communication approaches that make insights accessible and actionable for field and functional teams.
