ALT in Katsushika, Tokyo (Elementary Schools)

ECC Best Career is looking for a native level English speaker to work semi-full as an ALT in Katsushika, Tokyo. General Information: As an Assistant Language Teacher (ALT) you will be responsible for assisting English teachers at two elementary schools in Katsushika. Your primary responsibilities will be to act as a native level English speaker in order to assist students with pronunciation, grammar, and to help carry out language tests. As an assistant teacher you will not lead classes but instead follow the lead of the primary teacher. Additional responsibilities include the planning of class activities, as well as grading homework and exams, depending on the needs of the different schools. You may also be asked to help facilitate an English communication room for students to visit, or to assist in the running of English clubs as part of extra-curricular activities. Teaching experience and native English are preferred but not required.
