AIC International Kindergarten Teacher (Fujisawa City) (March-April 2026 Start)

School Profile and Description: AIC International Kindergarten is a four-year international pre-school and kindergarten program that provides both a Japanese and an English immersion environment for children of all nationalities and ethnicities. The kindergarten program has grown steadily over the last twenty years and is looking to add a new member(s) to our campus located in Fujisawa, Kanagawa. The school has adopted an inquiry-based learning approach in recent years, and the students learn through a variety of engaging and interactive ways. The kindergarten program is also taking steps to modernize how our students learn via technology and through the implementation of STEM-related projects. It is truly an exciting time to be a part of our schools and we are excited to add to our growing team of teachers. Position Information: The work week is Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 6:00pm (with occasional work on weekends for events such as Sports Day, Halloween, etc.). Days off are every Saturday and Sunday, one week during summer, one week during winter, and 10 flexible leave days (increasing every year individuals stay with the company). The specifics of the yearly calendar will be discussed in detail during the recruitment process. It must be mentioned that teachers are expected to put in the hours necessary to better enrich both the program and the experiences of the students. We take pride in our teaching and strive to deliver the highest quality education to our students! Compensation: The starting wage will be 270,000-280,000 per month. The first three months will be a probation period. The company has adopted a pay-scale that sees continuing teachers earn more in successive years with increased responsibilities. Details of this system will only be discussed with successful candidates. Transportation costs are covered (up to 30000 a month). Social, health, pension and unemployment insurance are all covered by the company as stipulated by labor law. Finally, we are looking for teachers with a minimum of two years’ experience (ideally in a kindergarten setting). Related experiences will also be considered. The successful candidate will start immediately. Recruitment Process: 1) Resumes will be screened to see that candidates meet our minimum requirements over the course of several weeks. 2) Successful candidates will be contacted to arrange a first-round interview (face-to-face in Hiroshima or via Zoom). Candidates will be asked to provide necessary documentation at this time. 3) Following first-round interviews, candidates will be short-listed and invited to our Fujisawa Campus for a trial-lesson and a second-round interview. Partial or complete transportation costs may be covered by our company.
