AI Engineer - Fintech

Role Overview

Join Kiwi.com 's Fintech team as an AI Engineer to design and build high-impact tools using AI to increase efficiency. The team is responsible for all monetary flows within Kiwi.com , including payments from customers, airlines, and travel agencies, while preventing fraudulent behavior and ensuring financial safety.
What You Will Do

Design and build new generation of high-impact tools using AI, support end-to-end quality of code, navigate payment systems, partner with product and business metrics, and nurture collaboration with FinTech specialists and third-party service providers.

Requirements

- Hands-on experience with AI (Cursor or Claude Code)

- Strong analytical mindset

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Proven track record of debugging complex issues

- Fluency in Python

- Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL and Redis)

- Data-driven familiarity with BigQuery

- Solid knowledge of object-oriented design patterns, microservices architecture, REST principles, and asynchronous messaging systems
