Our motto is “Play in English, learn in English.” We create fun, safe, and comfortable environments where our students learn real, usable English. Kids Duo teachers lead large and small groups of students (ages 3 to 12) in a variety of highly active games and activities. These include arts and crafts, music and dance, social studies, outdoor programs, and more. ◆ Teachers While we support teachers with an established curriculum and lesson plans, successful teachers grow and expand on these foundations by providing their own unique and original games and lesson ideas. Our approach allows for ample creative freedom to personalize your teaching style and inject passion and enthusiasm into your class. Working shifts are eight hours with a one-hour break (nine hours total). Shifts generally fall between the hours of 9:00 and 20:00 from Monday to Friday (some weekend work may be required). A typical shift is from 11:00 to 20:00. ◆ We’re looking for awesome teachers! ・Have native-level English proficiency* ・Have at least a 2-year associate degree OR a valid working visa ・Are independent and creatively minded, ready to innovate and adapt in any circumstance ・Are team-oriented, passionate, enthusiastic, and creative when teaching children ・Have a strong sense of professionalism and are self-motivated ・Have prior experience working with children (teaching or otherwise preferred) *Our curriculum places a strong emphasis on pronunciation and phonics practice. While we welcome English speakers from a variety of countries with varying dialects and accents, we ask that you are able to effectively teach and model these concepts with clear, natural English pronunciation.
