Job Summary
They are looking for an Accounting Manager to join their Accounting & Finance team. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for leading aspects of the accounting function within the client, providing Shared Services to Brands across their network.
About the Role
Shared Services provides critical support to Brands for Accounting, Financial Operations (Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Payroll), Business Applications, IT, and Real Estate. The ideal candidate will perform management reporting functions for the client while supporting various corporate and business initiatives.
Responsibilities

Own month-end and year-end close processes for assigned entities, ensuring timely, accurate, and GAAP-compliant financial reporting.

Review and approve journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, recurring close entries, and financial results prepared by the accounting team.

Oversee general ledger and balance sheet integrity across multiple legal entities, including fixed assets, accruals, cash and credit card reconciliations, amortization, depreciation, and key P&L drivers.

Perform variance analysis and provide clear explanations of financial results to leadership.

Lead intercompany accounting, reconciliations, settlements, and issue resolution across global entities, coordinating with subsidiaries and Shared Services teams.

Develop and maintain short- and long-term cash forecasts, partnering with FP&A and Client Finance to align accounting data with forecasts and operational needs.

Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff (typically 2+ direct reports), setting performance expectations and reviewing team outputs for accuracy and consistency.

Collaborate with FP&A, Client Finance, In-Brand Finance, and Shared Services teams to meet reporting requirements.

Maintain and strengthen internal controls, enforce accounting policies and procedures, and support internal/external audits, tax, and statutory reporting with timely, audit-ready data.

Lead process improvement and automation initiatives, including ad hoc and high-priority projects, to improve efficiency, accuracy, scalability, and system utilization across the accounting tech stack.
