This position may be performed remotely anywhere within the United States except for the State of Alaska, North Dakota, or South Dakota. Employees located within 50 miles of a BHN office will be considered a "Hybrid" employee and are required to come into the office 2 days per week based on office schedule.
Overview
The Account Manager II is responsible for managing retail clients within the Blackhawk Network Alliance and supporting the Go-To-Market (Sales) team in implementing a variety of omnichannel sales initiatives. Current alliance programs include gift cards, telecommunications products, prepaid financial cards, and other branded payment solutions. The Account Manager II works primarily with Strategic Relationship Managers to complete the operational activities associated with each executable initiative. This role also requires frequent interaction with clients, cross functional teams, and other stakeholders through regularly scheduled zoom/team meetings, potential on-site meetings, and other forms of communication.
Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Manage primarily mid-tier accounts and communicate directly with partners on a regular basis
- Manage all operational activities related to program management, including product setup and testing, coordination and oversight of resets and project execution, merchandising coordination, and internal account maintenance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute initiatives, address partner concerns, and develop solutions to challenges.
- Pull and analyze data to support client meetings; participate in client calls and attend in-person client meetings
- Manage operational activities related to the procurement, distribution, and fulfillment of promotional programs for alliance partner stores, and ensure that marketing deliverables are complet
- Learn new product lines and develop an understanding of the various solutions offered to our partners.
- Be available to travel approximately 10% of the time.
Qualifications
Knowledge and Skills Required
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills, including effective time management and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience with relationship development and management. Proven ability to build and maintain trust with clients
- Demonstrate initiative and sound decision-making skills
- Comfortable managing day-to-day responsibilities with minimal instruction.
- Ability to influence effectively across business functions.
- Demonstrated presentation skills.
- Demonstrate project management and logistics skills, with a proven ability to implement programs on time, according to specifications, and within budget.
- Ability to understand and manage the technical details of various programs and clearly explain key elements to partners.
- Comfortable working with complex and intangible product concepts that are not yet fully formed.
Experience Required
- 2+ years’ experience of account management, project management, client services experience preferred
- Bachelor's Degree Preferred or equivalent experience
